Hydrogen spectrum : 

The hydrogen spectrum is basically evidence to show the structure of an atom involving quantized electrons. While pass through gaseous hydrogen molecule hydrogen atoms of the molecule dissociates.

The transition of electrons takes
place from a better orbit to a decrease orbit, distinction of power is
radiated withinside the shape of radiation. The wavelength of the
radiation relies upon upon the preliminary and very last orbit inside
which the transition takes place.

Lyman Series

When electron jumps from other higher state to lowest state or ground state then energy released that’s called Lyman Series.

Balmer Series :

When electron jumps from any other higher state to 2nd state[n=2] then it is called Balmer Series.

 Paschen Series :

When electron jumps from any other higher state to 3nd state[n=3] then it is called Paschen Series.

Brackett Series :

When electron jumps from any other higher state to 4nd state[n=4] then it is called Brackett Series.

P-fund Series :

When electron jumps from any other higher state to 4nd state[n=4] then it is called Brackett Series.
